About Shri Khatu Shyam Ji

Shri Khatu Shyam Ji is identified with Barbarika, the grandson of Pandava Bhima and son of Ghatotkacha in the Mahabharata. Known for his immense power and great sacrifice, Lord Krishna blessed him with the boon that he would be worshipped in Kaliyuga by his own name — Shyam — and that all those who come to him with a pure heart shall have their wishes fulfilled.

His temple at Khatu in Sikar district of Rajasthan is one of the most visited pilgrimage destinations in India, drawing devotees from all walks of life.
